Frank, I appreciate your caring words, but I couldn't ask for a more comfortable bike than my Savage in STOCK form, with a proper rear suspension and a nice, quiet exhaust! Even at 6'2", with extra-long legs & arms, I've always found my LS650 to be comfortable in every way, from seat support, peg placement, bar height, etc. A more comfortable bike would not encourage me to stay with this activity...I already have the most comfortable ride I could ask for! It's simply that I feel I should stay off 2 wheels from now on...I don't have the peripheral vision and quick reflexes that I did 33 years ago! I fell off a bicycle once when I was in my early 30's, and I broke my arm and got skinned from my contact with the asphalt, and this was at 15 MPH! I wouldn't care to repeat this at 40, or even 25 MPH! No, it's just that I now have this feeling of vulnerability while on a motorcycle. All my riding from now on will be in a "cage"!
Stroke Easy, Frank...
